I've never gotten used to the dying part. It's not any easier, I think I'm just more pragmatic about it than I used to be. I accept it better, it's less of a shock to the system than it was once upon a time. But if I ever got used to it, I'd worry.
It hurts a little every time. It churns up emotions that I don't cope with well, and fears that I like to confront even less.
I don't ever want to get used to it, and I don't think I ever will. But I would like it to hurt a bit less.
