mactavish wrote that she felt more fired up about the upcoming election than she had in a long time. I'm left looking at things and feeling like I'm not doing enough. I'm not doing enough to make things better, safer, happier, more peaceful, and more just. I'm left frustrated and angry, and tired. And really feeling like I need to be doing more. It's not about politics, or presidents, or anything like that. It's about needing to leave things better than when I got here, and I'm not satisfied with what I'm doing towards that goal.
