Browsing job listings, and found the perfect job in Brooklyn, except for one thing.

It's doing abstinence only education.

One exciting thing about my last workshop with those from the state was their reaction to the subject of abstinence only programs. I believe these programs are implicitly dysfunctional. This is the psychosis of our time dividing those who live in a real world of real people and behavior and those who live in an idealized fantasy.

If we don't talk about it, it won't happen.

Jeebus.

Man, did I have some conversations with J about accepting a job where they could only do abstinence only.

A friend of a friend used to work for Catholic Charities doing abstinence only. Her solution was to tell kids that she could answer any question, so long as it was a yes or no answer.

This one individual I work with first submitted a grant on internet outreach, which netted about a thousand dollars from my agency in the last few months of last year.

We have recently signed onto a new CDC grant around the CDCs popular opinion leader program. If the NHATF succeeds in getting this grant they will receive around 400 thousand with 30 thousand going to GMFA for our collaboration.

First question, who is doing this in the greater NY area, if the answer is no one then you should definitely compare notes. This would be an excellent project to get into.

Of course, but the people pushing it aren't interested in things like proof - hooray for righteous faith alone!

Now, if only we can get them to believe that their faith will enable them to survive without air...

Eeek. Was that one of the ones I sent you last night? If so I totally missed the abstinence only part and apologize profusely. Ewwwww.

How can it be the perfect job if they want you to do abstinence-only education?

(My icon refers to them, incidentally, not you.)
