Apr. 14th, 2004 03:02 pmI have an appetite again! I've been good an icky since Sunday...-poor Cayne who got stuck hanging out with me when all I really wanted to do was sleep. (He's so good. He let me sleep til like noon, ordered take out for lunch with me, let me nap on the couch while we watched bad tv, and made sure I had groceries in the house for the week so I didn't have to go shopping.)
This is progress. Course I'm ravenous and can't decide what to eat.
Still filled with green and yellow goo, which comes out when I cough or sneeze. I think it's even running from my eyes too. My throat has finally stopped hurting. (One of the challenges I've had since the tonsillectomy is figuring out what's actually going on there-if it's a cold, or strep. Prior to the tonsils, I could tell the difference, my throat hurt in different places, and in different ways-one was a more dry stabbing pain, and one was a swollen, tender kind of pain. Now that I have no tonsils, I can't tell why my throat hurts.
I'm at the "I'm bored with being home" stage.
I want food. I took chicken out for dinner, which isn't what I want, but will be easy to make. (What I really want is pasta, with meat sauce. Or lasagna, or something like that. Or ravioli.)
Feed me!

"yeah, it wasn't your typical asymptomatic YI, in fact, there was the stringly discharge than thinned out over time. Now it's the BV type smell with a more mucus texture."
my gyno said she fees like we can just chat back and forth because I WANT to know what's going on. I taught her about menstrual cups, I was thrilled.

Date: 2004-04-15 01:27 pm (UTC)I see an NP at the GYN office for my routine care, and I think it's been a relief to her to have me come in and ask the kinds of questions I have about my contraceptive choices, and express the kinds of concerns I have. Especially the last few months when we've been pill-switching. (Which reminds me that 1. I need to calculate my cycle and make an appointment for my anual, and 2. I really need to call her and ask if the last period I had was normal for mircette cause it was totally not normal for me. So not normal that I was wondering if I might have had a contraceptive failure.)
