May. 6th, 2004 04:51 pmNormally, I avoid caffeine except in very limited quantities on Friday/Saturday/days when I don't have to work the next day. I get very bad effects from caffeine sometimes, and it messes with my sleep quite badly. The exception is when I get migraines, I'll drink a regular coke-it seems to help settle my stomach and help the headache.
I don't have to be in my office til half past 11 tomorrow. I have group at the psychiatric hospital in Leesburg (an hour and a half or so away.) I had no juice in the office, and wanted something more substantial than water. There was a bottle of Pepsi on the counter in the kitchen, leftover from a meeting earlier in the week. So I poured a cup, and sipped it over the last 90 minutes or so.
I'm having unbelievable caffeine side effects. I'm jittery. My eyes feel weird. My heart is racing. The effects seem to hit me really fast today.
Odd. I wonder if it's a pepsi v. coke thing, cause coke usually doesn't do this.
