Two questions

Did anyone else see the Today show this morning? Steven Cojacaru was on, showing off some really cute ballet flats. He had the coolest pair of sequinned silver flats-they kinda looked like the ruby slippers from the Wizard of Oz. I need to know who makes them; they were the perfect wedding shoes...even cooler than the white doc martens. I think I want them.

Also, does anyone local have an etiquette book that I could borrow briefly? I need to look up some wedding related stuff, and take notes. I'm sure I could find it on the web, but I actually would really like to have the physical book, to be able to cross reference stuff etc.

My branch library sucks, and while I'm certain I could get some of the stuff I need on ILL, it would take longer than if I borrowed it from someone around here.

I did think about the library. I just hate my local branch.

i have a large-ish traditional wedding library if you would like i can pass on to your fiance somehow.

including brides guide to etiquitte, from brides magazine. very good on the basics.

I would be delighted if that were possible. I'm not sure when you might next see him, or if you're somewhere inbetween the two of us in a place where it would be reasonable to get things from you on one of our north-south trips. (He heads down Memorial Day weekend, I'm heading north the weekend after I think.)

I'm sure we can work something out. I know we both travel north/south...if you're not too far from 95 (I forget precisely where you are) maybe one of us can get them from you.

If not, I'm sure if you got them to someone at games we could get them.
