I got back to work today, and my chair was broken, and my Rolodex was gone.

I've managed to rectify the chair situation, but I don't have my rolodex. I thought that perhaps my boss had borrowed it to look for a phone number, but it's not in her office...

This is a problem.

Ick!

I guess that's one advantage of the palm over the rolodex. can back it up. but I realized over the weekend that printed addressbooks remind you of people you might want to call in a way that electronic do not...

Does anyone else in your office deal with the same folks?

Are the chairs distinguishable in any way other than being broken? (In other words, are you sure that it's really 'your' chair?)

Office Brownies? Did you forget to leave their half-empty beverage container again?

Strange

Who do you know there that's a big lumbering ox? They probably broke it while sitting down going thru your desk.
