Weekend?

zedrikcayne got in at about six yesterday. First he was supposed to arrive Friday, but was way too tired. Then he told me he'd leave around nine on Saturday. At oh, noon or noon-thirty, he called and told me he'd just woken up, and would leave ASAP, but take the train.

So I head into Union Station to pick his (delayed by about thirty minutes) train, and by the way ruralrob I happened to be standing near the restroom, and couldn't stop thinking about you.

We went to Luna (mmmm tomato soup!) and Target and came home, relaxted, hung out and stuff. Then we went to bed.



One of the best things about the sex is not having it. Is being able to crawl into bed, even when we have only oh, 48 hours together, is being as content not having sex as having it.


Today was supposed to include a visit with geekchick but technical difficulties made that impossible (no directions!) So instead it included breakfast, groceries, Dairy Queen, and a nap for Cayne. Dinner is in the oven now, and we've got Willy Wonka on the TV. Might wander out for fireworks later, bt it's so overcast that I'm not sure it's worth it.

Oh, and I ran an updated version of AdAware on my computer this morning. Wow what a difference that has made.

Auuuuggghhhh!!!!!! I had a terrible feeling late this afternoon that maybe I hadn't copied you on the directions I sent out. I'm so sorry about that, it really was just a mistake on my part. =( Apparently my hed wuz not pastede on right.

No worries...we woke up and neither of us felt uber-social. I think we were just as happy to pass on things as we were to go. Mostly I was looking forward to seeing you, since I hadn't seen you in months. We'll have to plan to catch up soon.

Well, nobody else showed up, so you didn't miss out on a big social occasion. ;) We should definitely plan something soon, possibly involving foofy drinks.

By the way, are you likely to need any boxes? We've got a ton of U-Haul small and medium boxes and a few large ones from our last move that are headed to recycling unless you think you might want them.

Foofy drinks are very important. We should plan something soon...you're right.

Yes, I'll need boxes, but I have no idea of sizes or quantities. I haven't really started packing, and probably won't start for another six or eight weeks at least. If you can hold empty boxes til then, that's great...if not, I'll get boxes closer to moving date.
