I've suffered from an utter lack of motivation today. It'm chalking up the malaise to PMS, along with the giant pimples on my chin (oh how I love Queen Helene's Mint Julep Mask-it's the best thing I know for drawing out the big, flat kind of pimples that just don't want to grow a head and go away-including the one that appears from time to time which I've nicknamed China.)

I've watched some Olympics, dumped some recycling, napped, grocery shopped, and now I'm contemplating dinner (and lunches for the week as well.) I have no idea if my boss is in tomorrow or not, which means I have no idea if I have to cover for her tomorrow evening. Oh yeah, and I paid a bunch of bills. I need some serious motivation; the desire to curl up on the couch for a day or two is strong. I wanted to bake a batch of cookies, but that just hasn't gotten done.

End of summer means it's a good time to buy a cooler. I might go looking for one of those soon.

Watching the Olympics makes me miss swimming. Maybe there will be someplace near where I end up living to swim...I did love it. It would be much more fun if I had company though.

I'm really really really interested in making sure I vote this year, and so it's stressing me. I did pick up the absentee ballot information today at the grocery store, but the woman at the voter registration table was in another world entirely, and had no idea when I actually have to have the application back in to the county.

I wish my upstairs neighbors wouldn't be so loud. They're heavy-footed, which I can live with, but it's the unbearably loud TV and music that drives me batty. It's sometimes so loud that I can hear what they're watching better than I can hear what I'm watching.

Dinner, I think when they take a break from women's gymnastics.

Here's what the Virginia State Board of Elections says about absentee ballots.

Does the women's Olympics gymnastics team still suck? ;)

Well, they were expected to medal, but they had a bad day today. They ended up behind Rumania in points, and the Chinese haven't gone yet.

Where should I look for Queen Helene's Mint Julep Mask? It sounds like what I need.

I'll look at the CVS where I normally shop.

I've also just started on the first day of my new "swim everyday except bowling days" exercise program, so I don't know that that will do to my face.

I may eventually start using *gasp* moisturizer! :)

I gave up on sun, instead of worrying about my skin. Although I had a few doozies of sunburns when I was a kid, none of it has shown up as cancer yet.

I found a mesh coverup that does an amazing job of providing me with adequate sunblock. It's stood up to sunny days at amusement parks, and even Hedonism III in Jamaica.

I intend to find and or make even niftier ones, someday.
