[Poll #338668]

In other news...a 15 year old male said to me, while asking questions about anal sex (okay, Kel..butt sex) "But doesn't it always have to hurt them?"

I admit, I will miss that kind of stuff when I'm not here anymore.

You need a "none of the above" option.

I find it all kind of confusing - what's the difference between lying about having sex or about not having sex? And where does implying come in? And it's probably an interesting question as to whether one is doing so with a medical professional, to one's lover, to someone one is not having sex with, and to oneself.

*titter~giggle*

I checked a number of these, but 'lie' wasn't quite it - more like fudged the truth...like 'oh yea, you're the best lover - let's have sex again' type thing. The only i've ever outright lied about that i can recall is when people as if they're the only one - and that was in the past before i figured out in some arena's it was ok to have more than one love.

I find the number of people who lie to get out of sex simply amazing.

{wry eyebrow}

I'm not particularly surprised that nineteen people have lied to get out of having sex.

well, I've done it myself... I'm just surprised that more people seem to have lied to get out of sex than into sex... :)

For me it's a question of ethics

I would never lie to get sex. But I feel okay about doing it to get out of sex. I'm not trying to cross somones boundary, just looking for a way to preserve my own w.out hurting someone's feelings too much.

I totally agree, and wouldn't lie to get sex either.

I suppose what surprised me was how many people get offered sex they don't want. Like I said, I've had to lie to get out of sex myself. I guess I never realized how common a practice it seems to be.

Unwanted sex

It was a surprise to me too when I thought about it. I don't think of myself as the beating them off w. a stick type.

i've never lied about sex (including faking orgasms or telling someone they were better in bed than they really are), to get sex, or to get out of sex. of course, i'm ms. brutally-honest, so the most i'm likely to do is keep quiet.
