Aug. 2nd, 2002 10:51 pmStill no word from the NP. I'll try again next week.
Had the first test for the eye-related stuff today. CAT scan is in two weeks. Yes, I'm nervous. A lot.
I bailed on movie night tonight. This is incredibly frustrating. I wanted to see the girlfriend-who-is-not
aquariumgirl and retrieve some of mybooks from
moshah, but I think it just would have been too much, to go to the doctor this morning, to work a full day and then drive out to movie night, see friends and then come back here. Especially considering how exhausted I was after Sunday's outing. I've decided on a few things I want to get done this weekend, and hopefully two days will be enough to get through them. I will try and rest in between tasks, and do things in small pieces, and not get too frustrated. One would think after nearly three months, I'd be used to not being able to get things done, but I'm not and it still frustrates me.
I've lost another few pounds this week; I put on a pair of jeans that used to fit a certain way, and they don't anymore. They still stay up, but only because my butt and hips haven't shrunk much. I did eat pizza at lunch today; if my boss hadn't said to me at 10 o'clock that she wanted to get a pizza for lunch, I'd probably not have bothered. I should probably scrounge up something for dinner in a few minutes (even though it's 11 PM...)
My plan to stain the nightstands tomorrow has been spoiled; it's another code red day (airquality unhealthy) which means they don't want you out there painting and using gas powered mowers and so on. So no painting. Oh well, perhaps I'll stay in and read, along with the other things I want to do.
I have a cat who needs attention and a book calling my name.
