So I had mused about a foo on Saturday night, the 23rd, to try and see lots of people before I leave. If you're local and still interested (it would be a dinner-time-ish thing) let me know. If there is enough interest, I'll pick somewhere (feel free to make suggestions) and if necessary, make a reservation.

If you can't make it Saturday night but want to get together before I leave, let me know so I can plan to see you...pretty please?

(This especially goes for people who live way out in the middle of nowhere like dolfarion cause it might make more sense to see her separately and closer to work.)

No location yet. It depends on who says they're coming. If it's all people in Arlington/Alexandria, I'll pick some place around there...if there are further out people, I'll try and pick someplace around Tysons Corner or something.

Would you mind going out to somewhere around Tysons? mittelschmertz is probably coming along and I think she'll be coming from way way out on 66 (like Front Royal-ish) and since it's quite a hike, I'd like to pick something semi-reasonable.

Tysons is about an hour or so from Faire, which is doable depending on timing... I'd love to see mittelschmertz while she's here.

Any idea on timing? Later is of course easier.

what's scary is that when I first created the icon I asked, "is it me?" (no way I'll ever find the entry) and in general there was grudging agreement that it was. melaniesuzanne ventured that it was the drop earrings that did the trick.
