I have the best holiday card this year. Really, I do. And there are a bunch of you who I've already addressed cards to, but if you think you would like to see my fantabulous holiday card this year, please leave a comment or send me an e-mail with your snail mail address (and make sure it has your real name-first and last) and I'll try and make sure you get a card.

Comments screened, and if you tell me to, I'll delete it after I get the information.

I send cards because I enjoy it, and because there are people who I don't talk to much during the year (like an old professor who I exchange cards with) who I enjoy hearing from and catching up with, and because there are professional contacts who it's just prudent to send cards to. I don't expect to get cards back...it's just fun.

So I'll send a card when I go back to the other chair, and I'll hope you enjoy it.

I knew your real name already. I even know FJ's, but sometimes I can't spell his last name correctly (which IIRC is not uncommon.)

I'm glad you're enjoying them. It's a sort of interesting process to go through, and I'm learning a lot about what's important to me and why it is. I'm sure as the year goes on there will be others-we've got Christmas in just a few weeks, and lots of holidays next year.
