These are the hardest decisions to make with pets by far, and I think you're doing the best thing for her and yourselves. And who knows, maybe she'll hang in there comfortably for longer than you think. Beta may understand too; I'm convinced animals understand a lot more than we think they do. Good luck to everyone.
