If anyone in/near/within reasonable travel distance to NoVa has a spare PC monitor that they can lend me for about a month (until I retrieve the one that's in NY) let me know. This one is dying.

I think we probably have one available for a short-term loan. It's waiting to be part of the linux box I'm going to compile. But I don't think I'm in any danger of getting around to it in the next month, unfortunately.

I have a really old 15 inch monitor lying around here. If you don't find a better option, you're welcome to borrow it (although it's old enough that just about anything will be a better option I suspect).

Stupid question but...

Didn't you just buy this computer 7 months ago? Shouldn't that monitor still be under warranty? Or am I just completely behind the times and monitors don't come with warranties anymore?

I didn't buy a monitor with it, because at the time I had a 17 inch monitor that was still working.
