Wikipedia is not immune to errors, particularly in areas of sexuality and society. One contributor confused gangbangs and dps. The back and forth on New Chronology is a good example of dozens of people missing the point and too many cooks spoiling the broth.

I used wikipedia in this case because the definitions seem to be accurate. The concept however, seems to have been reported more and more in media sources.
