Menstrual Weirdness

Period weirdness as follows:

Arrived two days later than expected. Much much much lighter than expected-I put a tampon in overnight the first night, because I expected bleeding to be heavier, and it was nearly dry in the morning, and one other time when we were going out and I was concerned about bleeding on myself. Effectivey, mostly spotting. Consistency mostly normal, less lining than I'm used to seeing. Ended sooner than usual-lasted three to four days. No noticable cramps.

Had some spotting today, plus severe cramps, almost a week after period ended. Can't figure out why.

Many women spot early in pregnancy. My mom misjudged her conception dates on two of us cause she spotted so heavily she counted it as a period and was not positive she was pregnant. *thinking good thoughts for you*

I had considered that, but I'm on the pill, take it properly, haven't been on medications that might interfere, though a failure is entirely possible. Especially because the last time I had spotting as well, but it looked totally different.

I'll mention it when I see the midwife and her team in about ten days, unless something unusual shows up on the ultrasound I have this week.

One can have light periods in pregnancy. That's ruled out?

Sort of. It's unlikely, but not impossible. After the miscarriage because of the cysts, I've been on the pill. I haven't peed on a stick yet, which would rule it out absolutely, and I probably should.
