Dr P is not a fertility specialist. The low level stuff they'll handle in that office, if it goes beyond that, then they'll send me to Dr T who is a reproductive endocrinologist.
The ovulation thing...I have had three cycles when I appear to have ovulated (two via symptothermal method, and one via a combination of symptothermal and ovulation kits.) Since my cycles seem to be on the long side (which isn't surprising-they were always long) and it seems that I haven't ovulated yet during this cycle, the "when I expect to be ovulating" is actually not unreasonable/unexpected...just a little difficult to predict, which, even with more regular cycles than mine is still imprecise. The idea is to schedule it on the early side, to see what the state of follicular development is, and whether or not the formerly very large cyst has shrunk more since the last ultrasound, six months ago.
