I've used many public restrooms in my life, and in fact, sat on many public restroom toilets. In all my experience with public restroom toilets, I can't recall any time when my foot has bumped the foot of the person in the stall next to me, accidentally or on purpose.

Agreed...even in the narrowest of stalls, that has NEVER been an issue.

The other day, I tried to sit with a wide enough "stance" to reach into the (vacant) neighboring stall. No dice - my trousers and underwear made it quite impossible. I had to move my whole body over to get underneath the stall divider.

You might marvel at this, since you know that I am not stranger to toilet room sex. Out gay guys don't have to do the 'code'. I just stand at a urinal jacking off in front of my prospective partner. Very direct, works great.

When I first made the comment to zedrikcayne the other night about never bumping feet, he looked at me and said "absolutely not"-implying that he too has never bumped feet in a bathroom stall.

A friend made a similar point about public restroom behavior. While Senator Craig claims that he bent down to pick up a piece of paper, no one picks things up off a public restroom floor unless it's a $100 bill.

Looks like my same-sex friend and I will have to stop our ritual of playing footsie between the stalls whenever we partake of the loo together. Too bad, too... it was always amusing for us.

Wouldn't worry about it. Women don't have the same culture of tea room sex that men do, and it's not likely that you'll be caught by a police officer.

In order to get your foot under the next stall, you don't need a wide stance, you need a four-poster bed stance.

But having someone waggling their fingers under the stall or squirming around enough to get their foot into my stall would freak me out.
