I live in Florida. I do not live in the warmest, nor the coldest parts of Florida.

But I live in Florida. There is an orange grove down the street from where I live...

why is the weather report referring to "snow flurries" and "hard freeze" for tonight?

(The flurries are expected on the coast, not so far inland as where I am.)

ken said yesterday that the low tonight was supposed to be 28?! brrrr... that's not right! he said they went to a new year's eve party in shorts on monday night & were planning to crank up the heat & bundle up the next few days!

although, speaking of things that aren't right, i'm ridiculously excited for potential highs in the 40s up here this weekend. :)

stay toasty!

My family and I were passing through San Antonio, Texas one time, either Thanksgiving or Christmas eve, or something like that, and we left in a snow blizzard just thirty minutes before they closed the highways out of the city.

We were fine. But. Blizzard in Texas, that's just weird. (I have also been in a blizzard in Florida, but I think it was that weird offshoot panhandle thingy, not anywhere interesting.)

Nasty (or good as far as I'm concerned) cold wave hitting. It was 9 degrees here this evening at around 6pm, and -14 with the wind chill factor. I don't even want to know how cold its supposed to be over night.

Stay warm though. Its rough when you aren't used to it.

Oops! I'm sorry! I didn't realize. Please screen away.

Also, I read your post about filters. I am absolutely trustworthy about secrets and am very interested in human nature and people's lives. That said though, you don't know me and I don't expect you to trust me. I would be happy to read anything that you write that you wish to share, is what I'm saying.
