The Police and Elvis Costello are coming to Orlando in May. About six weeks after this baby is due.

I just don't think I'll get to see them. And I am so very very disappointed.

zedrikcayne is telling me I should buy a ticket and go by myself, and leave him with the baby, but it's just too soon. Too much noise for a one month old baby, I think.

Assuming you deliver on time or early at a month and a half you probably wouldn't hate having 3-4 hours to yourself. It's not a terrible idea.

buy the ticket. either you'll go and have a fab time or decide a week out that there's no way, and you'll sell it on ebay for a fortune.

Oh hell, just put the baby in a Maya wrap and go. Seriously. I took Lizey to see Jonatha Brook when she was a month old. Remember we took Molly to to see Ani in Central Park.

Molly was older when we went to see Ani in Central Park though, no? Still less than a year, I'm sure-I remember having her in the stroller.

I thought about just putting the baby in a sling and taking him or her along...I'm just kind of worried about the noise-this is a big arena sized concert kind of thing.

Yeah, the Mol was older, true. You'll have to meet the baby and she what his/her disposition is like. Both my kids love loud. Eliza finds it soothing (she's a hard-core sensory seeker-I am in so much trouble) She is more likely to sleep to the Pixies than lullabies. Sit up higher and away from speaker to avoid ear damage.
