Could someone please explain to me why in the world I am craving a Twinkie?

Good grief, of all the pregnancy cravings...at least most of them have been moderately healthy. With, perhaps, the exception of the donuts, and that was months ago.

Through all four pregnancies, I craved Burgundy Cherry Ice Cream. I don't think I've seen it anywhere for years, so it's a good thing I was pregnant when I was ;-).

I didn't want just the cherries, of course. I wanted the ice cream :).

I've never even heard of that.

The donut thing was awful. I wanted nothing but the awful Drakes/Entemans/ Hostess awful yellow cake donuts with the waxy chocolate coating. Now it's Twinkies. I admit that most of my cravings have been better...pickles, oranges, peaches, that sort of thing.

I kind of hope that after pregnancy some of this weird food stuff subsides.
