our kitties were beyond happy to claim the bassinet for themselves. Which was fine with me as I didn't want it or want to use it. Plus Tatiana hated it. She was an odd baby and always wanted room to s-t-r-e-t-c-h.

We set up our co-sleeper the other night, just to check the height on it, and the first thing that happened, before we even put in the mattress, Widget was in it.

I wanted a sling specifically for the Pepe dog when I thought he was going to need surgery on his leg. I figured it was the easiest way to keep him close to me and not jumping. He'd be more like toting a 1 year old though - around 18 pounds. When his tendon is being touchy he cries for us to carry him everywhere. I think the poodle would maybe enjoy it more. So I'm not telling him it's an option.

I'm pretty sure Lucky would claw our eyeballs out if we tried to sling him. He always did like the bassinet though. I'll have to scan up some of those pictures of him and Myst in the bassinet.
