There's a woman around the corner from me-within a five or ten minute drive, who is offering me what amounts to about 15 oz of donor milk a day. She happened to notice my Milkshare post, and has a freezer stash but also offered ongoing pumping. Her daughter is about two or three weeks older than Naomi, too. I continue to be amazed at the kindness extended to me in trying to make sure Naomi gets a significant amount of breast milk. It doesn't make up for my lack of breast milk...I still do kind of feel sad that I'm missing out on something, but I do the best I can.

We went out tonight for our anniversary. Instead of the kinds of places we've gone in the past, this place had paper napkins and a playground. It also had a bar and menus. Dinner would have been better if we'd gotten to eat there, but Naomi kicked up a fuss while we were eating our appetizer, and we decided that it made more sense to take her home as she'd had a fussy afternoon rather than take a chance on continued fussing. We brought dinner home and ate it while I pumped. So un-sexy.

My Mom and Dad arrive tomorrow afternoon shortly after Naomi's two month pediatrician appointment. They're here til Monday, so just a short visit. Saturday we're driving down to Boynton Beach to see my aunt and uncle. My cousin and his wife will be there with their baby who is about seven months older than Naomi. I haven't seen them since last June, about three weeks before I got pregnant. I'm not my cousin's biggest fan-I actually think he's kind of a jerk, and I was never enamored of his wife, but since she found out that I was pregnant, we've chatted more, and I'm actuall kind of looking forward to seeing her.

And next week I think I might even get a massage. I've been encouraged strongly to go treat myself to a pedicure too.

It really is amazing. And you're amazing for taking their help.

Hmm, I'm not sure what that means, but ok.

I'm so glad you are having luck with donor milk. It's awesome that there are people willing to donate. We have a milk bank in Raleigh and until I had to go on meds I donated some there.

Sorry about dinner. We used to have that happen sometimes too. Sometimes not. When she was very small we used to go to dinner late. We often went to the same place and they always sat us under a ceiling fan so she had something to talk to and watch. We used to go around 9 when everyone else was done so we didn't have to wait or anything.

Hope your appointment goes well and that you have a nice visit.
