When I was a kid and we were having bad days, my Mom used to threaten to send us back to the Gypsies.

My grandmother used to threaten to send my mother back to the Indians.

In 2008, I'm not sure where to send my kid when she has a day like that. But today, I kind of wish I did.

Our schedule is pretty wide open. There's a playgroup we usually don't go to on Tuesday mornings, because it's hard for both of us to be ready to leave the house on time, and the same goes for Tiny Tales on Wednesday mornings. (These are things we would probably do more often if I stopped pumping...)

Naomi is currently in 3 to 6 month clothing, depending on the brand. Gerber is hard to fit over clothbutt.

I have the Boynton books you gave me, which I'd have to look at the titles of (I can't remember at the moment) plus But Not the Hippopotamus, and Hippos Go Berserk.

Do you have my current cell phone number? That's usually the best way to get a hold of me.

This is only tangentially related, but in Costco the other day, someone asked me where I found those (referring to my kids). This isn't unusual -- I also sometimes get lines like, "no returns on those" from the person who checks your card/cart at the entrance and/or exit.

This guy shared with me the line someone else gave him in response to his line -- "I got the last two." :-)

I hadn't put two and two together...she was 12 weeks on Friday. It's entirely possible that we're somewhere between fussiness from vaccinations and fussiness cause we're right around the time when a growth spurt usually happens.
