She started grabbing at her toes at about four months, I think, and eating them in the last two weeks. She'll be five months old on Thursday. I think she was on the later side with the toe grabbing, but she started doing some fine motor things like passing toys back and forth from one hand to the other unusually early.
She'll find them soon enough. And then it will complicate your diaper changes!
What I find mindblowing, is the size difference between babies at the same age. I don't know if you saw, but on the Flickr page, I have a picture of Naomi next to her friend Julian, and he's gigantic next to her. Same with Anabelle, who is sixteen days older than she is. I don't worry much about her not being as big as other babies the same age, but it's amazing to look at the difference.
