Birthday Plans

My mother has decided that she's going to get Naomi the swing set I wanted to get for her birthday. Because we're not sure that this is a permanent house, I don't want to spend too much, and so I found one for under $200 that we can put a toddler swing on, and sent a link to my Mom, because I'd mentioned to her that I'd found one from Step2 or One Step Ahead (I don't remember which) and she wanted to know why I wasn't getting a "real swing set."

So now I have no idea what we're going to get her for her birthday. Normally I'd just combine what I want to spend with what my Mom wants to spend and buy something nicer, but I'm not sure it's worth it right now.

So I need to come up with a new birthday gift for Nacho Beans, and also decide what's going to go into the Goodie Bags for the kids. I'm stumped on that one.

I tend to buy Jonah toys that he's not quite ready for. We got one of those little people farms last winter. And now he loves opening the doors and putting things inside. I bought him twin baby dolls -- and now he likes to drag them around.

At 12 months, he was really into playing ball.
