Words and words.
Jul. 17th, 2009 11:37 pmFinding mesh panties for postpartum=some funny internet results. I know not everyone likes them but I actually did after Naomi was born and I'd like to find some again, in my size.
And speaking of Naomi-
She's mastered the sign for "more" though she doesn't always use it at the most useful times. She did use it tonight though, when asking for more dinner. And she used it the other day when she wanted me to clap my hands for her. She signed "more" and then grabbed my hands to make me clap. She's also mastered the word "clap" and the word "ball." She'll also point to her nose if you ask, but only if you ask in French.
And in interesting bilingual child news...the English word "poop" and the French word for doll ("la poupee") sound an awful lot alike. Ooops.
She's turned into a real babbling machine recently, with a few clear words. She and my Mom both enjoy it when I put Mom on speakerphone and let them "talk" to each other. I suspect in a few months, we'll try and get my parents a webcam and Skype or something so they can talk to each other.
