Focusing on Distraction

geminigirlThe health news from this morning was actually pretty good. There's still a long way to go, but good news is good news, though, as with many things, it's two steps forward, one step back.
I am focusing on distractions. I took a knitting class today with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ladysmith. Then we went and had lunch and I went and bought dresses for my daughters just in case there's a funeral to attend. As I said to ladysmith in the middle of fussing over this, "I'm focusing on these details because it keeps me from thinking about the other things." And it's true. I am working on distraction. It isn't helping much, but it is protecting the kids a little.
Riding the train with Grandpa last winter...
