My family wore red for marriage equality.

Here's what I wrote when I shared the photo on Facebook:

Andrew and I are fortunate to share our lives with a diverse group of friends who each bring their own special gifts to us and to our children. We know that our lives have been enhanced by the opportunity to pledge our lives to each other, and that by making that covenant legal through our civil government, we gain thousands of protections and rights that are denied to the many committed families who are forbidden to make that legal promise. Today, as always, we stand with those who are fighting to ensure that those protections and rights are granted equally to those who desire to make that vow.

Florida does have that. We've been about 15 or 20 degrees below the normal temperature for this time of year though-it was in the low 60s today, and is supposed to warm up just a little. I had some messy, outdoor projects planned for this week, and we've had to re-vamp everything because I didn't want to stand around outdoors.
