Female Trouble is not Divine
Feb. 26th, 2003 12:25 amI hate when my period gets weird. I know when it's supposed to start...it started a few hours late. Which is not cause for concern, just irritation. And then it's been behaving weirdly. Doesn't look like it usually does. Doesn't feel like it usually does.
I should be grateful that my cramps aren't as bad as usual.
Still, it's just icky.

Date: 2003-02-26 10:26 am (UTC)I'm also amazed that you know your body so well. I'm almost always surprised by when my period shows up. I've only ever predicted it once and that was a little over two weeks ago!
Did you make a habit of predicting it/tracking your cycle for a particular reason? (I know its recommended to all women to know but I'm curious what led to knowing so accurately..cuz, well, itz amazing and, dare I say, awe-inspiring!)

Date: 2003-02-26 04:58 pm (UTC)I've been on the pill for the last seven years, so I'm very predictable period wise. I can get it withing a couple of hours. Before that, I would track my period because I had miserable periods...very heavy (needed an overnight pad and a supertampon to go out for a class and that was about all I could tolerate,) miserable cramps, terrible PMS symptoms and they would last close to two weeks. I did with a plain old calendar and some magic markers but http://www.cyclespage.com/ simplifes it a lot if you're interested.
It's nice to know my body, to feel like I'm in touch with what's going on. I feel a bit detatched on the pill, but not enough to go off of it right now, until I'm ready to try to get pregnant and risk what menstruation was like before.
