geminigirlToday is Dine Out for Life-a regional event which benefits Food and Friends, who provide fantastic services to people living with HIV and with other life threatening conditions such as cancer. It's a good way for you to do something you need to anyway (eat!) and support an important local organization.
Here's how it works...
You visit one of the participating places for a meal (some places are all day, some lunch and dinner, some dinner)-let your server know that you want to participate and they'll arrange for some or all of the check (different places are giving different amounts) to go to Food and Friends. Or, order from Domino's and stay in. Check here for a list of participating places.
This is a great opportunity for you to get out and try something new. Go for it, and support a good cause in the process.
