They're evacuating about a mile and a half away from me.

Dad thinks I need to go prepare just in case I get evacuated.

And grama is at Peg's, so she'll go with them if need be.

I spoke to Gram this morning...she was kind of grouchy with me because I didn't answer the phone yesterday (I was at the eye doctor, I had told her I was going to be home because I thought I would be, but ended up having to go pick up new contacts, which took twice as long as it should have.)

I'm really glad she went to Peg's. I got her as ready as I could, but I was uncomfortable with her being home alone. I told Anne that if she refused to go to Peg's or your Mom's to call me and I'd go wait out the storm with her.

And thanks for the offer of space. I'll see what happens...right now the evacuations are in Belleview/Ft. Hunt/New Alexandria, which is far enough that I feel safe, but if they get any closer, I may go. I pulled the cat carriers out, and I'm going to pack the cat stuff and my bag.
