Why is there no one online to watch the Emmys and trash them with me?

Things that were hard to find at the store today:

Milk

bottled water (that was an impossibility...there was nothing at the Giant

plastic cuttlery (boil water alert still in action)

I managed to get milk at the 7-11 since the grocery store had nothing smaller than a half gallon.

Now it's time to try and figure out if the dishwasher heats things enough to kill potential bacteria or not...

Maybe this is sold out, too... but don't forget that seltzer water will do the trick for many things, too.

I boiled some extra water. The boil order was lifted tonight.

Brownies had to wait til after the boil order was lifted, and I can get a hold of some thing in the grocery store...

Um, either of the above is marvelous! Only restriction I can think of: no walnuts. Actually, I'm generally not fond of nuts in brownies. They detract from the gooey chocolatey or butterscotchey goodness. :)

Glad to hear the boil water order was lifted, at last! We've gone through a couple of those this year, and it's quite unpleasant.

I'll have to see which ones ship better...and which ones I can find a better pan to ship in.

Do you do eggs, or no? (This is important. I once upon a time had a decent vegan brownie recipie, but it's not nearly as good as my non-vegan brownie recipes.)

Yep, eggs are fine, thanks for asking!

If you really want to ship in a pan, there are the disposable ones... Otherwise, just putting 'em in aluminum foil and then inside a shipping box works, too.

Glad Ovenware is great stuff...I've got a few pieces, and have no objections to picking up more. A bit sturdier....

she usually says "raspberries phbbbt". But then she's baked other fruit into sweets before, so she might.

'Course, if it was intended for someone else, I'll gladly step aside. :-)
