This day better improve really fast.

I get ready for work, leaving the house a few minutes later than usual because I'm taking the trash out and have to tie the bag up, and out the door, and my car is gone.

Why is my car gone?

I call the police (and my mother) to find out that my car's been towed because "no sticker."

What do you mean, no sticker? It has a parking sticker. And it was legally parked. Yes, the sticker is in fact not on the rear window because if it was it would fall off from the defroster (I've had that problem before.) It's on the rear passenger window where it doesn't have that problem.

So now I have to fight with my apartment complex to geth the $90 tow fee back.

Not the way to start the day. Needs to get better, and fast.

One of my downstairs neighbors had her car towed as well...she moved in sometime in the summer, early July I think. She's been to the office repeatedly trying to get a parking sticker but they haven't had any.

When I first moved into the complex there were no stickers required-it was one of the things I liked about the complex. The other place I was seriously considering had chronic parking issues-I knew that from people I knew who lived there. Last winter they started issuing sitckers, but this is the first time in ten months that they've enforced it.

I want my $90 back.

I had a colleague whose car was towed by her complex for lack of registration sticker. They don't even have permit parking, so one wonders why the tow truck in the first place.

Awww geez that sucks bigtime. I would definately make them give you back the towimg fee and maybe even make them pay for the lost time at work.
