Too fruity to taste the alcohol.

I can never remember the name of the bar we ended up at after dinner at Raku, but I enjoyed Raku, and a large fruity martini, and then wandered off down the street to that cool chrome bar on Connecticut Ave. above the HRC store and Chipotle-where the Circle Bar used to be. And we drank some more. And the drinks were good, and fruity and I have no idea how much alcohol was in them, so I'm still awake only because I'm trying to down enough water to stave off the post-drink dehydration.

Three-ish martinis, one semi-drunk admission of feelings about someone, one lovely dinner and after dinner drinks with marvelous companions (pinkfish and mittelschmertz all makes me glad I bought water today when I grocery shopped.

Thank you for dinner etc. guys.

Now if only I can make sure to avoid an AM hangover...and still remain conversant about contraception in the morning.

You know, I have no recollection of posting this.

I woke up with a vague headache this morning, popped a few tylenol and went off to the doctor where I had a very nice conversation about contraception. How are you feeling?

I was quite tum-sick today, but no headache. Missed a few hours of work. Way depressed. (Well, duh!)

Glad the contraception talk went OK. Could have been disastrous!

Yeah, the end result was "try a different pill for a couple of months, because the one you're on may be causing a problem."

I'm okay with that...less than ideal, but not impossible.
