Accomplishment
Oct. 15th, 2003 05:30 pmI need new icons...I need one that's kind of rainbow-y for when I write about sexuality related stuff.
I work 12:30-8:30 on Wednedsays right now, because I run a group from 7:30-8:30 at a detention center. So I arrive at work at about 12:30, and there are no lights in the stairs and the elevator isn't working. I go upstairs to my office, on the third floor, and am greeted by a crowd of people in the conference room just outside my office. "We're closing in 20 minutes if the power doesn't come back on." We sit around and chat for a few minutes, and during this time, the generator cuts off, so we lose the backup power, which had at least powered some of the lights. My office has no windows, so it was very dark as I gathered my things to go home.
But going home allowed me to finish a cover letter, which I'll fax off later today.
