Weekend-ish Planning
Oct. 16th, 2003 09:16 amFor those of you who are in/near DC (or who want to come by for a visit) Reel Affirmations starts this weekend-it's the DC Gay and Lesbian film festival. I'm thinking about a couple of films I want to see, and would welcome company for some/all of them.
The following are films I'm interested in/likely to see-there are others that I might be more inclined to see with company:
Saturday, 1 PM, Lincoln Theatre-by the U street metro-The Gift (basically a film about bug chasers-I'd read about the film a few months back and I'm glad it's coming here.)
Sunday 6 PM, JCC Theatre (near DuPont Circle)-Fight Back, Fight AIDS:15 years of Act Up
Monday 6 PM, JCC Theatre Transgender Youth Shorts
Tuesday 9 PM, Lincoln Theatre Funny Ha Ha or Funny Gay?
There are a couple of others, but I work Wednesday nights, and Thursday night belong to
aquariumgirl, although I may see if she wants to see No Ordinary Love with me. I'm also interested in Secondary High at midnight on 10/24, but I also have a work event, so I don't know if I'll be back in time, or if I'll feel like it after that.
If you're interested in any of these (or some of the others) let me know.
