I must get around to revising my friends list and filters soon. Not that anything exciting has been friends only or anything lately, just because there are people who should be on my default view who aren't, etc.

If you're a fan of NPR and/or political cartoons, Morning Edition had a great piece this morning with a couple of cartoonists. I'll try and dig the link up (or scherzoid, if you have it, can you post it) and post it later.

And I am having 90's alternagirl moments today, having had both a Midnight Oil earworm and a Bob Mould earworm. Might have to grab the Bob Mould CD from the desk and play it.

I wish I could remember who gave me the advice about not wearing red panties when one goes to try on wedding dresses. It's been stuck in my head all day. Perhaps it's like that whole making sure you've got nice underwear on when you see the gynecologist, even though the gynecologist is probably never going to see your underwear. (Okay, maybe I'm weird but I do that.)

And the longest friends meme...the one about who on your friends list have you known the longest, how long it's been and how did you meet?

The first person I met on my friends list was yesthattom, who I met in the fall of 1995, making it almost nine years ago. I met him when I was in college, and he was in DC for something relating to his job at the time-I knew him from several online bisexual communities, and met him in person in Dupont Circle when he was here.

I think I must find buffalo wings for dinner tonight...where to get them from though, since the place I liked changed ownership and the food's not nearly as good.
