I sometimes talk about work. Okay, I talk a lot about work. I'm not sure how much I talk about the actual impact of the funding cuts. ruralrob and I talked a bit about how it's affecting things in this post last week, but today the Washington Post provided this article which goes into more detail.

Also, for locals, at some point in the near future, there will be a piece (which someone from my agency is being inverviewed for) on WAMU about the funding cuts for HIV programming. If you happen to hear it, please let me know, just in case I haven't.

Orange...not my most flattering color

I appear to be turning orange. My hands are anyway. I suspect it's too much beta carotene, which happened to my sister as a kid, but it's freaky. It will probably fade in a couple of days if I cut back or cut out certain vegetables that I like, but it makes me feel icky.

Plus it means I clash with myself.
