Jun. 23rd, 2008 01:22 pmPleasant weekend. We did a bunch of errands on Saturday-exchanged but completely impractical baby outfits that we'd been given for some much more practical and not quite as cute onsies. Seriously, the baby doesn't wear anything but onesies at this point...we change enough diapers that it just makes sense. Though she has some cute dresses...I'll need to come up with somewhere to where the one my Mom bought her. She'll also need a nice dress for her baby naming, whenever we sort that out, and possibly something to wear to a Christening, but I don't know when that might be. Considering I don't know when either of those events might take place, I'm not buying clothes for them. I really would like to get the details of the baby naming worked out, whether it's up at Mom and Dad's or down here (I'd prefer Mom and Dad's cause my family will be there, but Mom is sort of non-committal, and she made a suggestion which I liked but I'm now waiting for an answer on it.)
We also got groceries, and ran to Babies R Us for a few random things like stage 2 bottles.
Sunday I got a loooong nap in the afternoon. Cayne took the baby out to run a few errands, which involved acquiring more conditioner for me. Except somewhere along the way he mixed up conditioner with shampoo and came home with shampoo (which I have plenty of) and no conditioner. The lawn also got taken care of this weekend.
Today I am thinking about trying to make a chiropractor appointment, but someone has been fussing. She's been shifting sleep and eating around. She's also making it quite clear when she does and doesn't want to be held, which is nice. Wednesday she and I both get massages, I think (waiting to confirm that) and we're going to dinner after. Maybe a library trip this week. I do wish that the nearest place to buy cloth wasn't two hours away; I feel like diaper shopping today.
