Jan. 27th, 2004 07:03 amSnow Day! (Actually, ice day.)
They haven't plowed or salted or sanded my complex yet, so I hadn't planned on going in until they did, but at least I know I don't have to take vacation time to do it.
This is not such a bad thing, considering I was awake before 5 AM again.
I don't own a snow shovel. This is not the time to try and find one, but considering that I'll probably have to dig my car out, I might try and get one.
(Course if I buy one, it won't snow at all the rest of the winter.)

Date: 2004-01-27 01:17 pm (UTC)Maybe, but unless you move further south, I'm sure you'll need one sometime! :-)
Glad to hear that you've got another snow day -- we don't. :-( Everyone wanted to strangle me when they woke up, called the snow hotline, and heard me cheerfully telling them we're open.

Date: 2004-01-27 01:24 pm (UTC)And since my plans right now don't include moving further south, a snow shovel would be a good idea...course this probably means waiting til the state of the streets is a bit better-I watched people fishtail down the hill this morning, and I don't want to play car hockey.
