I've been waking up in the middle of the night again. I don't know why, but I'm waking up between about 4:30 and 5:30. It's bothersome.
I've seen fewer kids playing in the snow behind my place, the last two days. I wonder why that is-despite the fact that I enjoy quiet, it is fun to see them enjoying themselves...as it is enjoyable to watch the adults who've never seen snow before.
I've spent a lot of time watching Beta sleep. I still think of him as a baby kitty, and often he still behaves like one. But I think of him as much smaller than he really is a lot of the time (except when I pick him up and he weighs a ton.) In reality he's about twice the size of Oblivion. In the middle of my bed, he looks so much smaller than he really is. I did snap a couple of nice pictures of him tonight. Need to get someone else to look at them, and then maybe upload one or two for people to look at.
I'm torn between wanting to go back to work tomorrow, and wanting another day off. A lot of it is not wanting to drive in the mess. Some of it is not wanting to deal with work. If you aren't already aware, I'd really like to move back to New York, and am sort of job hunting there. (If anyone has good pointers, insight, connections, the usual, please let me know. I'd like to be able to be back up there in the fall.)
The cats seem to think it's bedtime. I'm sort of with them.
