fwiw, I love (most of the time) my in-laws. it is possible to get terrific in-laws :) Have you ever met them?

Not yet. I'll meet them this summer, when we go north.

I've been getting e-mail from them this week though, and I do enjoy the e-mail, although, I'll admit, what scares me is of course wondering if they'll like me, but also, what's expected.

i've had pretty good luck with in-laws--many of mine are still part of my life, as you know. is there any reason to think his folks won't be fine and dandy?

I have a good set though I've yet to meet my father-in law. His mom says that's probably a good thing because he's crazy. He did compliment Bill on the fact that I had all my teeth when he saw my picture though...
