Anyone wanna hang out with me in Leesburg from about 6:30 or 6:45 until 8 or 8:15 or so?

(The short short version...my client site out there won't let me in with the pink eye, cause it's contagious. My boss is covering group for me, but doesn't want to drive to/from Leesburg by herself cause she'll get lost. Which means I'll drive out there, and need to hang out somewhere while she runs my group, and then she'll follow me back.)

That's really ridiculous. Which I'm sure you didn't really need to hear from me, but I feel compelled to say. Funding is low, but we'll pay mileage and expenses for TWO people to go do a job in which only one of them is actually going to do the work because one is too much of a wuss to print out some mapquest directions???

I totally agree with you. She didn't want me to reschedule til next week because this group is finishing close to the end of the grant cycle...that I understand. The directions are incredibly easy-it's right off the Rt. 15 bypass. Granted, we missed the turn for the bypass coming back last week, but I wasn't driving either-I carpooled with another co-worker, so we only had two cars.

Plus, managing this group (at the adolescent psychiatric center) really requires at least two adults.

The one advantage, for me is that it means I can leave here a bit earlier tomorrow to head up north. Maybe beating the traffic even.

But still...it's ridiculous. Especially with gas prices as high as they are.
