So I've got two cover letters written, but I realized that before I send them out, there's some stuff I want to stick in my resume...I just can't figure out where it belongs.

I've taken a couple of professional trainings that really do belong in my resume, one on prevention case management (PCM), one on facillitating a prevention program called "Be Proud! Be Responsible!" and the ones I took in order to do HIV testing and counseling.

They don't feel like they belong under "Eduation", but I'm not sure what to title the section they belong in, nor where to put it.

Argh!

Hate hate hate updating my resume.

Perhaps under "Education"? Or you could create a separate training section, or change the Education heading to "Education and Training".

found this post via friendsfriends...

***Professional Education***

Is the section you place this sort of item in.

This is almost more important then your academic education section, as it shows you are on a continuous improvement track in your career.

instead of using "Employment" or "Work experience", i use the title "Professional Experiences" to include jobs, conferences, presentations, etc. that's until i get the balls to do a curriculum vitae though.
