They've just posted the job for which I'd apply if I weren't leaving. It's a program management job, running a peer education program. I know I sometimes talk about wanting to get out of youth work, or wanting to get out of direct service but I'd still apply. It's a really cool job.

*sigh* I find this job search that stretches out in front of me terrifying. Sure I have skills, but do I have the right skills? Am I good at what I do, do other people know that? What kind of jobs should I be looking at, at what level? Can I really handle a management job.

And what if no one wants me...

See, I can't commiserate on the wedding, but THIS I can do.

Job searches are so tough. But I'm confident you'll find something great!

I don't think the problem is really so much about whether an organization would want you and whether you have good skills, as it is about whether there are any substantial number of jobs available in your area of specialization.

I don't really know anything about jobs in your field, but maybe branching out into related areas would help?
