I'm almost afraid to be so vehemently and publically anti-Bush, sometimes... because I fear that, if we fail to get him out of the office, it's only a matter of time before vocal people like us are up against the wall.

I still fear the outcome of this election. I noticed someone commented to the first entry that they are glad we are voting Bush out of office. I don't think it's that set in stone though. The more I see people say "well I will vote but I won't vote for Bush (yay) but I just can't vote for Kerry so I will vote for

The more I see people say "well I will vote but I won't vote for Bush (yay) but I just can't vote for Kerry so I will vote for <insert 3rd party/no party candidate here who barely has 1% of the polls>" the more I get scared. Yes, I think Kerry is a pretty weak choice, but given the options, I think he's the only person who will have a chance at getting Bush out of office. It's sad that we have to look at this election as not "the best candidate" but instead "the candidate most likely to get the current administration booted, even if he's not ideal".

I think if the current administration stays put, I will have to try to find a way to move my family to a country that at least is upfront about its oppression.
