Busy Day

I am really a spazz sometimes. I had worked out my August calendar a while back, and I just looked down and realized I have a group starting Monday. I've also managed in the last few days to leave cheese in the dishrack in my kitchen. I don't know why I put the cheese there in the first place either. Not good. I'm amused and concerned at the same time by the forgetfulness/inability to concentrate.

I did finally call and leave a message for the NP...no news from Infectious Disease would seem to indicate that they found nothing. I've started to wonder if this is perhaps something chronic fatigue like in nature...I have some of the symptoms, certainly. But for a CFS diagnosis, you need to have six months of symptoms. Now, this isn't the first time I've had something like this (though last time I don't recall if there were accompanying fevers) but I can't imagine going through another three months of this. Hopefully, I'll also be able to get her to switch my allergy medication too. I hate changing meds because then there's the whole side effect/getting used to new stuff/things that don't work well process to go through, but much as I love Claritin, I need something that will do a better job with my nose and that will last longer.

Back to work-ish stuff.

Doh. So much for a couple weeks with no Monday class to worry about. :(

And I strongly recommend Clarinex. It's the more powerful version of Claritin and it really works for me.

I was on Allegra for awhile. It didn't do too terribly much for me.

Afternoon clesses are definitely better. It means you'll actually be able to go home at night and relax a bit while I ditch you (and everyone else) for wrestling. :P

I agree completely about the side effects. I haven't had anything horrible from the Clarinex but I'm not exactly one to say how your body will react to it. :)

It's great, or so I've heard from others (and it works pretty well for the two weeks a year I have allergies myself - damn Bradford Pears!). Insurance companies tend to push you at the others because they're cheaper, and especially if you have an HMO, your doc may be getting pushed by them to do the same. I know people for whom Zyrtec works MUCH much better, especially for "indoor" allergies. Worth an ask, maybe?

Zyrtec was the one I was on before Claritin.

It's definitely good stuff. :)

I've tried Allegra, Claritin, and Zyrtec, and Zyrtec is the only one that works for me and works well. Good luck finding the best one for you!

i think that i've found a correlation between claritin and some dizzy spells that i was having. so right now, i'm just doing inhalers and sneezing. it's better than getting woozy while driving down the highway at 55mph. and yes, i haven't had any of the spells since two days after i stopped using the claritin.

Erk, hope you find something that works, hon. And I can send you some fresh cheese if you'd like :) *hugs*

So, a little bird told me you are a twisted redhead? ;)

Glad to hear it ;) There's never enough, ya know. We're a vanishing breed...makes us more unique, I s'pose. And if you are a friend of Points and Aynjel, you must rate high on the nifty scale.

I may be a bottle redhead, but it does look natural. I have the coloring for it. And the freckles ;) You're still welcome to visit sometime, if only to see the cats and ferrets.

We have four ferrets....mine are a dark eyed white named Lily and a sable named Damon. My roommates have Lazarus, a light silver and Barnaby, a dark silver. The felines are Nathan and Adelaide...both humane society kittens eight years ago :)

Got it in one! It was my very first show in High School. Went on to get a B.A. in Theatre, too. You get points for knowing that one, so few people get it.
