Weekend in a nutshell:
Tornadoes. Lots of them on Friday. Also, lots of cooking.
Cayne got in late on Friday night.
Saturday, tried to go to AT&T store-line was too long. Tarp from road construction blew onto an SUV while it was driving. Very windy.
Boxes from
geekchick.
Hail and Farewell for our e-board at work.
And Coldstone Creamery.
Sunday-incredibly stomach ickiness from about 5-7 AM. Really painful. Cayne slept through it.
Got up, ate breakfast, decided that we had more important things to do than the AT&T store, and spent the afternoon with
aquariumgirl,
john_5 and
hotpoint, taking cute pictures of Cayne and I (which I may post a link to once they're moved off of
aquariumgirl's webspace.
Nine more days at work-eight if you don't count today.
Two hundred sixty-five days till the wedding.
You should check this site out.
Okay, so I'm looking at the calendar and it seems to make sense for me to try and gather people together for a going away foo of some sort the weekend of 10/23. How does that work for people?
Also, I really want to go to a place in Bethesda for it. Will that deter too many of my NoVa friends from coming along? I can probably choose someplace else. Alternatively, if you're a Maryland-person, how far would you be willing to go into Virginia if I were to choose someplace there?
Finish gift registry
Spend a couple of days at my parents doing wedding stuff.
Pack up apartment (that's not an ought to, that's a have to)
Apply for more jobs
See people who I haven't seen for a while.

Date: 2004-09-20 09:11 pm (UTC)I don't have any particular preferences on location, though obviously Bethesda is easier than NoVa.
